What is my username?

Your Email address is your username.

I've lost my password and can't sign in. Can you help?

You can request a new password easily by using the “Forgot password?” link on the log in page.

How do I log in?

You can sign in by selecting ‘log in' in the TelcoPlace toolbar on the right. You can log in using your email address. You’ll also need your password.

How do I register?

Click the register button “Registration” (top right) and follow the procedure or click on the link: Registration.

How do I change my username?

Your username cannot be changed. Your username will never be displayed when you're bidding at an auction. It is only provided to the seller once you've won the auction. Your username is the email address you summited.

How do I change my password?

Your password can be changed in your ‘My TelcoPlace’ environment. 

I can't sign in. What should I do?

Make sure you use the right email as username. Try “Forgot password?”. Give us a mail to find out why your username is not working at customerservice@telcoplace.com.

Where do I adjust my information?

Your profile can be changed in your ‘My TelcoPlace’ environment.

Why do I register

Registration is your first stop when using TelcoPlace.

If you are a purchaser: you will be free to either bid or buy directly the vendor's products and services.

If you are a vendor: you will have the ability to add all your services and commodities.

If you wish to answer an RfQ.

When you are registered are notified when relevant RfQ’s are matching your network.

How do I publish my services?

To make our lists user friendly and efficient we will forward you an EXCEL sheet which enables us to tabulate the needed specifications.

We will upload the list for you.

On completion, we will inform you, your listing will be available in ‘My TelcoPlace.' 

How can I use filter?

Filters enable you to zoom in on the products you are looking for.

After selecting the category of your interest, filters are presented on the left side.

Things you can do with filters:

- common filters are presented; if you want to use more filters, click "more +"

- select locations: Country, City, PoP

- to deselect: select the filter again, and click "all XXX"

- to reset all filters: click "Reset Filters" at the bottom of the fllter list

What can I do as a buyer?

First step to buy on the TelcoPlace platform is your registration.

After you finalized your registration, you are free to bid on buy directly the products and services offered by the sellers.

By placing a bid or accepting a fixed price you express your interest in buying the product against this price. The TelcoPlace platform will pass your interest to the seller after which he or she will contact you. Your bid or acceptance of a buy now price is non-binding.

No costs are linked to buying on the TelcoPlace platform. A fee will be paid by the seller of the product or the services after sale.

While TelcoPlace may provide pricing, listing, and other guidance in our Services, such guidance is solely informational and you may decide to follow it or not. Also, while TelcoPlace may help facilitate the resolution of disputes through various programs, TelcoPlace has no control over and does not guarantee the existence, quality, safety or legality of items advertised; the truth or accuracy of users' content or listings; the ability of sellers to sell items; the ability of buyers to pay for items; or that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction or return an item.

What are the fees involved?

Do I buy items from TelcoPlace or directly from the seller?

How do I Place a Bid?

First view details of the item. There you can specify the amount you want to buy and the price you want to offer. Click ‘Contact Vendor’. Your bid will be submitted to the seller who will react with an acceptance or rejection of your bid.

Be aware that TelcoPlace uses the US notation for bids in all currencies. (so use 1000.99 instead of 1.000,99).

What’s the difference between ‘add to favorites’ and ‘receive notifications from the bids’?

Adding listings to favorites will show them in your favorites list on top of the page. The option ‘receive notifications’ will generate email notifications in case of bids on the listing concerned.

What are the purchasers options?

a. BIDDING:
The prospective purchaser views details of the item. There the purchaser can bid both the amount and the price. Click ‘Contact Vendor’. The bid will be submitted to the vendor who will react with an acceptance or rejection to your bid. 
When the purchaser bids, or accepts the fixed price, the TelcoPlace platform will inform the vendor who will immediately contact the prospective purchaser. 

b. ADDING LIST TO FAVORITES:
Adding listings to favorites will display them in the list on top of the page.  

c. RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS:
The option ‘receive notifications’ will generate email status change notifications of chosen items.

Who are the vendors?

The vendors are all well-established international telecom operators.

The contact details will be revealed at the moment you reach mutual agreement on price. Price might change in the dealmaking process directly between the vendor and the purchaser.

How can I find what I’m looking for?

TelcoPlace has several ways to find the service you are looking for.

1. Search

The search window on top of the site makes it possible to search for anything in a free format. In this way you might find streets, PoP names, countries, cities and technologies. Be aware that there are several ways to spell the country or city names. We use the international spelling. We have the option to get email notifications based upon your search. You only have to log in and save your search to get new results by e-mail at the moment they are available on TelcoPlace.

2. Recently viewed products

On the bottom left of your window you find the recently viewed listings.

3. Sorting

The list of available services per category can be sorted by created on, name A-Z or name Z-A.

4. Favorites

When you find an interesting service which you would like to investigate later you can add it to your favorites. You do not have to log in for this feature.

5. Email a friend

You can also mail the services you are interested in to a friend that also can be your self. The mail you get contains a link to the specific advertisement.  

6. Maps

On our map you can see all points-of-presence and landing stations available on TelcoPlace. By clicking a pin, you see the name, the address and the URL to all available services at that location. 

Who purchases from who?

The purchasing proces is between the vendor and the purchaser only.

After purchaser and vendor agree a price the deal has to be finalized between purchaser and vendor. The final contract will be made directly and only between the two relevant parties: - the vendor and the purchaser.

How do I resolve disputes?

TelcoPlace aims to avoid disputes.

TelcoPlace may help facilitate the resolution of disputes through various programs we offer.

Travel budgets are getting smaller and smaller. Our schedule is tighter and tighter. The number of players on the market is increasing. New entrants and new technologies bring new and cheaper solutions.

TelcoPlace created the option to publish requests for quotation for free. The selling vendor pays a small fee. The RfQ’s are public, you as purchasing company are anonymous until you decide to accept a quote and start finalizing the SLA and contract with the quotee.

Will VAT be charged?

No VAT on the sales fee will be invoiced by TelcoPlace to organizations with a registered VAT number outside the Netherlands. 

For a Dutch organization with a registered VAT number, VAT on the sales fee will be invoiced. 

In all other cases, VAT of 21% will be mandatory.

When will TelcoPlace send its invoice to the seller?

TelcoPlace will invoice the vendor within 14 days of completion of the signing of the contract between vendor and purchaser. Seller has to inform TelcoPlace wthin 5 workingdays after finalizing the deal. The invoice will be submitted via email to the email address registered by you as invoice email address.

How will the invoice be submitted?

The invoice will be submitted by email to the email address registered by you as invoice email address.

How do I bid on an RfQ?

The prospective seller can see the desired specification in the details-window of the RFQ item. There the seller can bid the price of the entire contract (for example for a one-year contract: MRCx12+NRC=quote). Additional information can be added to the comment field or added as a separate file (Click ‘Upload file’). 

 
When all relevant information is set, click ‘Send Quote’. The quote will be submitted to the purchaser for review, at the end time of the RFQ TelcoPlace will react with an acceptance or rejection to your quote.

Please note you can only quote active RFQ, each RFQ have a closing date, when that date has passed you are no longer capable of quoting.
The TelcoPlace platform offers a 'no cure, no pay' concept. The only charge, paid only by you, is a 7.5% addition to your sales price – when you are the winner of the RFQ.

As long as the RFQ runs, your quote will be available in your 'My TelcoPlace’, under ‘My quotes’
How do I publish a request for quotation?

Registration is your first step in publishing with TelcoPlace. 

After registration you are able to publish your requests for quotations. Placing an RFQ will be free of charge.

We need to know in which category or categories you wish to be published, inform us now by email: ​customerservice@telcoplace.com. We will send you a spreadsheet, on it are the needed specifications to present your RFQ on TelcoPlace. 
 
On completion (please allow us one business day), we will inform you. Your listings will be available in your 'My TelcoPlace’ under ‘My Listings’. RfQ's will remain on TelcoPlace until two days after closing date that is set by you.

How should I enter my quotes?

Be aware that input in TelcoPlace should be entered in numbers only for quotes and prices in all currencies. (so use 1001 instead of 1.000,99).

Analysis of quotes

When you react on a request for quotation, you will get an analysis of all quotes at the end of the RfQ.  Below you see an example of our feedback. This will provide you price comparison to other participants. 

All info is anonymous, no real names are reviled!

Round trip delay

We choose to specify latency. For round trip delay you can double the latency in general.

In-house cabling

All services are excluding inhouse cabling unless otherwise is stated.

Currency

All listings are Euro based. So other currencies shown are based on the actual currency rate.

We only import Euro priced services.

After we confirmed your registration, you are able to offer your goods and services on the TelcoPlace platform.

Selling on the TelcoPlace platform is a no cure no pay concept. Only if you sell your products and services, we will invoice a fee of 7,5% on the sales price.

To sell, you can send your Excel listings to customerservice@telcoplace.com. Please check the specifications of existing listings for the completeness of your input.

After filling our TelcoPlace upload format we will return it to you in Excel format to check.  After your approval, we will upload the products for you to the platform and inform you at the moment the listings are published. At that moment the listings are also available in your ‘My TelcoPlace’.

By listing your product or service you invite parties to bid or show their interest to buy against a fixed price. It is up to you and the interested party to come to a deal.

When you want to erase current filters, and start again:

- to deselect a single filter: select the filter again, and click "all XXX" (pls note that some dependant filters in Location will also be reset)

- if you select an other category (in the filter or from category window) all other filters will also be reset

- to reset all filters: click "Reset Filters" at the bottom of the fllter list

- you can also restart at the home page (home icom top left), and select a new category
